Thanks for remembering George Morin
Kudos on the column ("Remembering ol' Georgie Boy," Aug. 1, 5A). I have wondered why there were no letters to the editor from George Morin for a long time now. I am so sorry to hear of his passing.
I both agreed with, and often amicably responded to, George's letters on a variety of topics. But, unlike me, George seemed to instill a kinder quality in his writing, while emphatically getting his point(s) across. He had a gift, and I sorely miss him.
In his absence, I feel like an abandoned fawn in a forest full of hungry wolves.
