P. Douglas and April Reed of Dacula announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsea Lynn Reed of Dacula, to David Brian Nix of Winterville, son of Diane Woods of Greensboro and Ray Nix of Dawsonville.
The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Mill Creek High School and a 2011 graduate of Georgia College and State University.
She is employed with Olympic Steel as a production planning associate.
The future groom is a 2000 graduate of Stockbridge High School and is a 2010 graduate of Georgia College and State University. He is pursuing a doctorate in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Georgia.
The wedding is planned for Nov.10 in Bogart.
