Meadowcreek's Bennett signs with Darton wrestling

Recent Meadowcreek grad Dante Bennett, a three-sport athlete, signed with Darton University's wrestling program. Darton, which is located in Albany, is a member of the NJCAA.

Bennett finished his senior year with a record of 55-7 at 120 pounds. He made it to the Class AAAAA state tournament by finishing as Area 7-AAAAA runner-up. Bennett co-captained the team and was selected to the all-county team.

Benentt was also was a member of the track and field team as a sprinter and Pole Vaulter and was a defensive back for the Football program.

Bennett was a four-time recipient of Meadowcreek's prestigious Triple Crown Award emblematic of participation in three varsity sports in one year.

He is the son of Marlene Tirado.
