Mrs. Doris “June” Puckett, age 59, of Snellville, GA passed away Monday, July 30, 2012. She was born December 9, 1952 in Atlanta, GA. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Thursday, August 2, 2012 in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Snellville, with Rev. Ray Batson, Craig Cavaugh, and Jeremy Harris officiating. Burial to follow at Zoar United Methodist Church Cemetery, Snellville, GA. She is survived by her husband, of 42 years, Robert E. “Bob” Puckett, Sr., three children and their spouses, Robert E. “Robbie” & Shawn Puckett, Jr., Jefferson, GA; Mark A. Puckett, Nicholson, GA, Lisa (Puckett) & Stacey Swift, Lawrenceville, GA; Parents, Dewey L. & Rhoda Pilgrim, Sr., Snellville, GA; five brothers & sisters and their spouses, “D.L.” & Becky Pilgrim, Jr., Shirley & Buck Parker, Joyce Pilgrim, Larry & Debbie Everett, & Micah & Gwen Pilgrim. She was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren: Tyler, Zachary, and Micah Swift, Brandon & Alex Puckett, Jordan & Peyton Puckett; and many loving nieces & nephews, and dear friends.
