Tammy and Rick Powell of Jacksonville, Fla., and John Sokol of Morrow announce the engagement of their daughter, Annie Sokol of Sandy Springs, to T.J. Marmiol of Sandy Springs, son of Ruben and Galia Marmiol of Lawrenceville.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Central High School and of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree in middle school education. She is employed with Clayton County as a sixth-grade teacher.
The future groom is a graduate of Central High School and of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree in finance. He is employed with Allstate as a financial analyst.
The wedding is planned for June 16 in Atlanta.
