DULUTH -- Fire crews made quick work Monday night of a small fire at The Falls Apartments in the 700 block of The Falls Parkway in Duluth, officials said.
A family living in one unit reported smoke issuing from an electrical outlet about 6 p.m.
Firefighters found heavy smoke coming from one unit in the top level of a two-story apartment building. Crews evacuated the building's residents, and then contained most damages to the porch area of the family's unit, said Fire Department spokesman Lt. Eric Eberly.
No injuries were reported, and no other units were damaged.
The exact cause hasn't been determined, but fire investigators have listed the blaze as unintentional, Eberly said.
