A school bus full of children was involved in a wreck Monday morning when a passenger car hit the vehicle from behind.
Gwinnett County Police said there were no injuries reported on the bus, but one complaint of an injury from the other vehicle.
The incident occurred about 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Camp Perrin Road and Spring Rose Glen, just north of Lawrenceville.
The Gwinnett County Public Schools bus was headed to Walnut Grove Elementary with 42 students aboard. Jorge Quintana, a spokesman with the school system, confirmed that none of the students were injured.
“Emergency personnel who responded checked out the students upon arrival and cleared them,” Quintana said. “A second school bus then arrived and took the students to school.”
It was not yet clear whether either driver would be charged in the incident.
