DACULA — Hebron Christian's baseball team defeated George Walton 4-0 on Saturday to win Region 8-A for the third year in row.
Jordan Hillyer (6-0) was the winning pitcher, striking out 12 in 7 innings and giving up three hits in the shutout. Brady Shoppe, Hillyer, Drew Coker and Tyler Hutch each got hits and drove in runs.
Hebron, the defending Class A state champion, is 21-2 overall and finishes 17-0 in 8-A play.
