Ray Duffey, age 81, of Loganville passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Frances Duffey; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Gail Duffey of Snellville; daughter and son-in-law, Jana Duffey Howard and Fred Howard of Tybee Island, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Norman and Maggie Duffey of Griffin; five grandchildren and their spouses, Sheila and Chris, Heather and Gordon, Kris and Bethane`, Nicole, Jonathan and Whitney; three great grandchildren, Katie, Kristin, and Kaleb; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Duffey was an Army veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from A&P after many years as a Southeast controller. He served his Lord at Lawrenceville Church of God for many years. A Funeral Service to Celebrate the Life of Ray Duffey will be held Monday, April 23, 2012 at 2PM at the Lawrenceville Church of God, with Rev. Steve Snyder and Rev Kevin Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receives friends Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 6PM until 9PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel.
