Mr. Quinton W. Holland, age 92, of Buford, GA passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Sallie Grace Pass Holland; son Donald Holland; parents, Elbert J. and Ada Mae Holland, Sr.; brothers, Boyce Holland, E. J. Holland, Jr., Emerson Holland, and John Harvey Holland; sisters, Sybil Silvers, Gladys Lofty, Lois Irvin, and Nellie Rose Parker. He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Janet and Royce Glover, Buford, GA; daughter in law, Martha Holland, Buford, GA; grandchildren, David Glover, Buford, GA, James Glover, Buford, GA and Julie and Chris Holloway, Flowery Branch, GA; three great grandchildren, Hannah Glover, Bethlehem, GA, Grace Glover, Bethlehem, GA and Emma Glover, Bethlehem, GA; brother in law and sister in law, Bothwell and Mabel Pass, Buford, GA; sisters in law, Dorothy Pass Smith, Carnesville, GA and Maxine Pass, Greensboro, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by a special friend, Mildred Hughes, Lawrenceville, GA. Mr. Holland was born July 21, 1919 in Winder, GA. He was a World War II veteran serving in the United States Navy and was retired from Ira Hardin Company. He was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Buford, GA. He was a Mason and member and past master of Buford Masonic Lodge, No 292, F.&A.M where he received his fifty-year pin. He was a Shriner and member of the Yaraab Temple. He was a member of the “Sherwood Coffee Club” and was a resident of Brookside Assisted Living for the past four years in Buford, GA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA with a Masonic graveside service.
