Collins Hill senior Emily Buck has made a commitment to the Oglethorpe University women's basketball program. She is the daughter of Bruce and Susan Buck and her brother Reed plays basketball for the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
Buck, who will be honored Tuesday with a 2:30 p.m. ceremony in the Eagles' theater, was a first-team all-county and second-team all-region selection as a senior, when she averaged 11.7 points and 4.2 rebounds. She also made all-state, all-region and all-county in softball as a senior.
