Karen Ann Alesi Harrison, age 56, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, after a long valiant fight with cancer. Karen was an angel in life and is now an eternal angel with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Rex Harrison, her loving children, Kimberly Haddock and Brandon Haddock all of Lawrenceville, GA, Jennifer Crowe of Hampton, GA, and Candace Nicole Harrison of Morrow, GA, her loving brother and sister in law, Tom and Amy Alesi of Bishop, GA, her 8 grandchildren that she adored, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends. Karen was born in New York to Salvatore and Dorothy (Kabaszinska) Alesi who have predeceased her. She graduated from Henderson High School and received her LPN from Mercer University. Karen devoted her life and enjoyed nursing for over 25 years, most recently working for Northlake Pediatric Associates. Karen and Rex just celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary on April 15, 2012. She will truly be missed by all that knew and loved her. The Funeral Service to Celebrate the Life of Karen will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel. Pastor Jack Wolfe will officiate.
