Duluth senior Casey Nellums has signed a letter of intent with the Newberry College (S.C.) fastpitch softball program. She is the daughter of Matt and Mary Kay Nellums.
Nellums, a second baseman who plays travel ball for the Georgia Lynx, was a four-year varsity player in softball for the Wildcats, earning all-region honors. She also is in her fourth season as a member of Duluth's varsity golf team. She maintains a 3.7 GPA.
