The kick-off to a Gwinnett Good Neighbor project has been postponed, due to forecasted rain Saturday.
The Great American Cleanup event, which Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful was sponsoring in three local neighborhoods, has been rescheduled for May 19.
People can still sign up to volunteer at the three area locations -- Burns Road in Lilburn, Cruse Road in Lawrenceville and the Meadow Church area in Duluth.
Projects include cleaning up litter, mowing along the road right-of-way, painting graffiti-tagged fences, planting vegetation and building fences,
