SNELLVILLE -- Brookwood had four champions in the Region 8-AAAAA JV meet last Wednesday to hold off rival Parkview for the title.
The host Broncos scored 189 points to edge Parkview, who had 185. Berkmar was third with 96.
Brookwood's Danielle Jarnagin won the 800 and 1,600-meter runs, while Holly Gunder took first in the 3,200 and the 3,200 relay team also won.
Parkview's region champs were Jordan Hargrave (400), Allana Anderson (100 hurdles), 400 relay team and Kiera Mitchell (high jump).
Bekrmar also had four first-place finishes with Elexis Guster (100), Daijah Cooke (long jump and triple jump) and Queen Briggs (shot put) winning titles.
Archer's Akua Obeng-Akrofi (200), Laura Allen (discus) and South Gwinnett's Jahze Wyse (300 hurdles), 1,600 relay team, Ayana Daniels (pole vault) were also region champs.
