Peachtree Ridge senior Billy Best has made a commitment to the new Georgia Gwinnett College baseball program. He is the son of Lynne and Tom Best.
Best, who also played quarterback for the Lions' football team, hit .352 as a junior, when he also hit the first playoff home run in school history. He's hitting .356 with a home run and nine RBIs this season.
