LAWRENCEVILLE -- Tickets for "A Knight in Vegas" are available for purchase through the Central Gwinnett Cluster Foundation's website.
The event, which is scheduled for 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Northwood Country Club in Lawrenceville, is one of the organization's primary fundraisers for grants and scholarships at schools located in the Central Gwinnett Cluster.
During the fall, the foundation gave a grant to the Vertical Writing Team, which is comprised of teachers, literacy coaches and administrators from around the cluster who are collaborating to support successful writing practices from kindergarten through high school.
The next foundation grant will be announced in the fall.
Tickets for "A Knight in Vegas" are $50 per person and can be purchased through the events menu at www.centralgwinnettclusterfoundation.org.
Donations and sponsorships can also be processed through the website.
Purchase of the ticket provides $250 in Casino Cash to be used at the gaming tables, heavy hors d'oeuvres, dancing, music and offers chances to win gift baskets provided from staff at the cluster schools.
A cash bar will feature the gala signature drink, The Black Knight.
Central Gwinnett Cluster Schools include Central Gwinnett High and Phoenix High; Moore Middle and Richards Middle; Oakland Meadow; and Cedar Hill, Jenkins, Lawrenceville, Simonton and Winn-Holt elementary schools.
