PREP ROUNDUP: Hallberg, Hawks roll in Florida

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Emily Hallberg scored five goals and the Mill Creek girls lacrosse team rolled to a 14-6 victory over Buchholz of Gainesville, Fla., on Saturday.

Tori Windom had the hat trick with three goals and added an assist. Abigail Fitler and Noelle Allen each had two goals and an assist for the Hawks (11-1). Tyler Rediger scored two goals and Mackenzie Fagioli contributed three assists.


Norcross 2, Dunwoody 0

NORCROSS -- Chase Bailey and Clay Bailey scored for Norcross in a 2-0 win over Dunwoody on Saturday.

Jose Cedillo had the shutout in goal for the Blue Devils (7-10-1).


Lions win division at tourney

ATLANTA -- Peachtree Ridge beat Chattahoochee and Lambert, both 3-2, to win the B division of the Buckhead Rotary Tournament at Hit Atlanta tennis center Saturday.

Against Chattahooche, the Lions (9-5) swept the singles matches with wins by No. 1 Jashith Choppara, No. 2 Kevin Lim and No. 3 David Wang.

Against Lambert, Alex Makarenko won at No. 1 singles and Lim took a second match at No. 3. Taylor Foote and Jacob Kukler secured the third point to win at No. 1 doubles.


Peachtree Ridge runner-up at Brookwood Invite

SNELLVILLE -- Jenny Li shot an 83 and Annie Jin had an 87 to lead the Peachtree Ridge girls to a second-place finish at the Brookwood Invitational at Summit Chase golf course in Snellville.


Wesleyan 4, Westminster 2

ATLANTA -- Conner Woerner was 3-for-4 with three RBIs for Wesleyan in a 4-2 win over Westminster on Saturday.

Eric Rappe was 1-for-3 with an RBI, while four pitchers (Jamie Stark, Ben Spears, Grank Warren and Will Anderson) combined for the win for the Wolves (12-8).
