Dacula announced a handful of changes on Friday, including the resignations of head girls basketball coach Travis Young and head boys cross country and head girls track and field coach Chad Harrison. Both stepped down for family reasons.
The high school also announced the promotion of David Machovec to the cross country and track and field positions previously held by Harrison. Machovec was previously an assistant track and football coach and also was formerly the head boys track coach until he stepped back into an assistant role to watch his children Israel and Eve compete for the Georgia track and field team.
