Brookwood senior Michael Gouge was announced Friday as the statewide winner of the Georgia Athletic Directors Association Male Scholarship Award for his success in athletics and academics. He will receive a $1,000 scholarship to use at Valdosta State, where he will attend to play baseball.
Gouge also played tight end for four seasons for the Broncos' football team. He played basketball for three years and baseball for four seasons.
