George E. and Evelyn Adams Wilkerson of Between recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. The couple were married March 22, 1947, in Lawrenceville.
George is retired from General Motors and the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department and Evelyn is retired from Eastman Kodak and Dr. Fayette Sims Sr. office.
They have two children, Ellen Garrett, married to Wayne Garrett and Susan Cartwright, married to Jeff Cartwright.
They also have three grandchildren: Kim, Jeff and Janie, and four great-grandchildren: Kris, Jana, Melissa and Jimmy.
The couple celebrated at Callaway Gardens with their daughters.
