Lee and Judy Gornes of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Gornes of Lawrenceville, to Corey Ritchie of Lawrenceville, son of Fred and Maxine Ritchie of Snellville.
The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of Georgia and is employed with Hampton Inn.
The future groom is a graduate of South West DeKalb High School and is employed with Exide Technologies.
The wedding is planned for July 28 in Duluth.
