LILBURN -- Wesleyan scored three runs in the seventh inning to beat Providence 10-8 Wednesday.
Griffin Bone had two hits and four RBIs to pace the Wolves (11-8, 7-4). Mason Colquitt was 1-for-5 with a homer. Carter Hall added two hits and two RBIs. Will Anderson earned the save.
Josh Carter blew his save chance and picked up the loss for the Stars (12-9, 6-5). Eric Stahl went 2-for-4 with a double, while Austin Loyd also had two hits. Max Broom was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.
BASEBALL
Central 14, Berkmar 4
LAWRENCEVILLE -- Luis Valdes pitched a complete game as Central Gwinnett beat Berkmar 14-4 in six innings Wednesday. Valdes (2-6) gave up two hits, two earned runs and struck out nine. At the plate, Valdes had an RBI double and a stolen base for the Black Knights (6-13). Josh Davis (3-for-4), Paulo De Los Santos (2-for-3) and Roy Clackum (2-for-4) also drove in a run.
Peachtree Ridge 6, Norcross 2
NORCROSS -- Donald Frew went the distance in Peachtree Ridge's 6-2 win over Norcross on Wednesday. Frew (5-1) allowed six hits and struck out seven. At the plate, Steven Tomlinson had two hits and two RBIs for the Lions (13-7, 8-4). Cooper Burdick also had two hits and knocked in a run. Tripp Miller, Jonathan Hudson and Robert Sanchez each had an RBI.
Tanner Maloof was 3-for-3 with a double and a run scored to lead the Blue Devils (7-12, 3-9). Joseph Wilber was 2-for-3 with an RBI, while Trevor Craport also knocked in a run. Wilber (1-3) was the losing pitcher.
Shiloh 3, Brookwood 2
SNELLVILLE -- Josh Nance pitched a complete game and allowed four hits in Shiloh's 3-2 win over Brookwood on Wednesday. Marcus McCorkle and Kyle Lewis each had two hits for the Generals (12-7, 5-4). Cletis Avery drove in a run.
South 3, Archer 2
LAWRENCEVILLE -- Jordan Ramey pitched a complete game and also knocked in a run as South Gwinnett beat Archer 3-2 Wednesday. Ramey (3-2) gave up seven hits and struck out eight. He was also 2-for-4 at the plate for South (9-11, 5-5). Ryan Patterson, Mason Hart and Montrell Marshall each had two hits. Marshall also had an RBI.
Grayson 10, Dacula 5
LOGANVILLE -- Jeril Dawson knocked in three runs and scored three times as Grayson beat Dacula 10-5 Wednesday. Dawson was 2-for-2, while Carter Collins was 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs for the Rams (15-4, 9-1). Drew Taylor added two hits. Korey Anderson (1-1) pitched a 1 scoreless innings of relief to get the win.
Travis Vanderhorst was 3-for-3 with two RBIs to lead the Falcons (4-16, 3-7). Tyler Crumley was 2-for-3.
Westminster 3, GAC 2
ATLANTA -- Greater Atlanta Christian fell to Westminster 3-2 Wednesday. Ross Wood was 2-for-4 with a triple and a run scored for the Spartans (12-8, 5-4). Patrick Stone (2-4) was the losing pitcher. He gave up three runs in 5 innings.
Oconee Co. 16, Lanier 6
WATKINSVILLE -- Lanier lost to Oconee County 16-6 in six innings Wednesday. Austin Gaskins led the Longhorns (10-8, 8-6) offense with two hits and three RBIs. Trenton Little and Taylor Grant each added two hits and two RBIs.
GIRLS GOLF
Dacula 95, Parkview 98
SNELLVILLE -- Dacula held off Parkview 95-98 Wednesday at Summit Chase County Club. Lindsey Wilson shot a 46 to lead the Falcons, while Leah Chandley had a 47 for the Panthers (4-2).
Duluth 78, Norcross 115
LAWRENCEVILLE -- Diane Lin shot one-under-par to help Duluth remain unbeaten with a 78-115 win over Norcross Wednesday at Northwood Country Club. Lin finished with a 35, while Casey Nellums shot a 43 for the Wildcats (7-0).
BOYS GOLF
Parkview 168, Dacula 184
SNELLVILLE -- Drew Long shot two-over-par to lead Parkview to a 168-184 win over Dacula on Wednesday at Summit Chase Country Club. Long fired a 38 for the Panthers (3-3), while Harold Lee had a 39 for the Falcons.
GIRLS TENNIS
GAC 5, Collins Hill 0
LAWRENCEVILLE -- Greater Atlanta Christian swept Collins Hill 5-0 Wednesday. Remi Andre, Julia Bryan and Phoenix Jandy won the singles matches for the Spartans (8-5). Meghan Mitchell and Rachel Chupp earned the point at No. 1 doubles, while Jenny Armstrong and Ann Puntkattalee won the No. 2 match.
BOYS TENNIS
Collins Hill 5, GAC 0
LAWRENCEVILLE -- Collins Hill blanked Greater Atlanta Christian 5-0 Wednesday. Chris Clark, Tyler Kallgren and Ian Melnik were singles winners for the Eagles (15-2). In doubles play, Jake Inderrieden and Marcus Maloney won the No. 1 match, while the No. 2 pair of Alec Rahmanian and Peyton Rushing won their match.
GIRLS LACROSSE
Grayson 12, Parkview 11
LOGANVILLE -- Anna LaCavera scored the game-winning goal in the final minute as Grayson beat Parkview 12-11 Wednesday. LaCavera finished with two goals and an assist for the Rams (11-1). Hannah Wood led the scoring with three goals, while Lyndsay Parris put in two. Goalie Taylor Denton made 12 saves.
For the Panthers (4-10), Victoria Petrassi scored four goals, while Bethany Barbour put in three. Kelly Spevacek added two goals and Riley Fields scored once.
Mill Creek 15, Brookwood 5
HOSCHTON -- Mackenzie Fagioli and Noelle Allen each had five goals and two assists in Mill Creek's 15-5 win over Brookwood on Wednesday. Emily Hallberg added two goals for the Hawks (9-1).
Peachtree Ridge 26, Mountain View 1
SUWANEE -- Darby Frisbie scored six goals and had two assists to lead Peachtree Ridge to a 26-1 win over Mountain View on Wednesday. Michelle Fortier added five goals and two assists for the Lions (10-1, 5-0). Kayla Jones and Rachel Harper each scored four times. Jones also had four assists. Goalie Izzy Ivory made 11 saves.
BOYS SOCCER
Brookwood 7, Islands 1
SAVANNAH -- Kelson Brunelle and Trevor Mooney each scored three goals as Brookwood beat Islands 7-1 Wednesday. Brunelle also had three assists, while Mooney had two for the Broncos (11-2). Luis Sanchez added the other goal, while Brandon Morrow had an assist.
