ATLANTA (AP) -- Metro Atlanta's transit authority is announcing the return of its Braves shuttle as the team gears up for its home opener.
The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, or MARTA, says the shuttle bus is a good way to avoid snarled traffic and expensive parking. The Braves home opener is set for Friday.
Starting an hour and a half before the game, fans can take the shuttle from Underground Atlanta downtown to Turner Field. The shuttle will operate in the reverse direction for an hour after the game and activities are over or until the shuttle line has been cleared.
MARTA tickets cost $2.50 each direction, plus a $1 charge for a permanent Breeze card. Parking is free for less than 24 hours at MARTA daily parking facilities.
