Three Gwinnett high school basketball players were among the five boys and five girls selected for the Naismith Awards Flourish Scholarship, the first scholar-athlete initiative for the Atlanta Tipoff Club.
Parkview had two of the five girls award-winners with teammates Erika Joseph and Helena Pouengue. Mill Creek's Sierra Menzies also received the award, which is given for excellence on and off the basketball court. Each honoree receives $1,000 to be used at the college of their choice.
