SNELLVILLE -- Local officials are preparing to celebrate the annual Snellville Days Festival.
The festivities, in their 39th year, begin with a parade on Wisteria Drive at 9:30 a.m., May 5.
Then, crowds will converge on T.W. Briscoe Park, where more than 150 food and crafts booths are expected to be set up. A kid's field will host activities, such as pony rides. And musical and dance acts will keep people entertained.
The live entertainment includes a variety of acts, including Masters of the Chainsaw and Wildlife Wendy and Her Tropical Birds, a press release said. The featured artist Saturday is Jordan Rager, the local talent who appeared on NBC's "The Voice" and "Soul Purpose," while Sunday's top act is "The Neons."
The festival hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 5, and noon to 5 p.m. May 6.
