AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — Police say they took a female into custody after they say she fired several gunshots outside an east Georgia Waffle House.
Authorities tell WRDW-TV (http://bit.ly/Hjt1eD) that the shots were fired outside the Waffle House on Wrightsboro Road in Augusta shortly before 5 a.m. Friday. No injuries were reported.
Deputies responded and found two groups of females involved in a dispute.
Police say one group was inside the restaurant when deputies say another group approached them and started a verbal altercation. They say the fight carried outside where a female fired four shots in the air with a handgun. Police say they arrested the woman suspected of firing shots.
Investigators say they think the argument stemmed from a post on Facebook that involved someone's relationship status.
