Gwinnett Daily Post
On behalf of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and the business community at large, it is my pleasure to congratulate Gwinnett Technical College on the grand opening of its new Life Sciences Center on Wednesday. In just six short years, the Gwinnett community came together -- from the hospitals and businesses to the community organizations, private foundations and education -- to build the next generation learning center for Healthcare IT and Life Sciences in Gwinnett.
Gwinnett's collaborative environment has once again been realized by this tangibly impressive success on Gwinnett Tech's campus and we look forward to the critically-essential and qualified workforce that will drive growth and development of the Healthcare and Life Sciences industries both in Gwinnett and the metro Atlanta region.
As Gwinnett works toward the second phase of executing its award-winning community and economic development strategy, Partnership Gwinnett, our educational institutions and the targeted programs they offer -- that drive a qualified talent pool -- will be a critical component to its continued success. We look forward to what lies ahead in our future and once again congratulate Sharon Bartels and Gwinnett Technical College on this exciting achievement for workforce development in our region.
