Having read in another Gwinnett publication that this would cost in excess of $500,000. If this is a correct figure then it may be a waste of taxpayer money. We have a dog with a fenced in back yard. On occassion we go to Bunten road park to walk him on a leash of course and clean up after him. What will happen when some one is bit by a dog? What are the extra maintence cost associated with this project? We are not against dogs at all but like my neighbor said what will they do for cats? Thought that was funny. Since the economy is in bad shape these funds could have been put to better use. Just think of the forclosed houses and the ones about to lose it all and the City of Duluth builds a dog park. That is our government for you.

Believ it that is what they are doing. What about the property owners and taxpayers that do not have a dog. Also planned for this park is a skateboard park. Just wait until that goes in and some one gets hurt or even better there after hours and gets hurt. Can we say LAWSUIT? Do not think that will happen...think again.
