DALTON -- Undercover officers and FBI agents arrested a Norcross man Sunday who intended to have sex with a minor after establishing a meeting via the Internet, authorities said.
Larry Justus Jr., 36, is charged with aggravated attempted child molestation and violation of the Computer Pornography Act, said FBI Atlanta spokesman Special Agent Stephen Emmett.
Justus caught the attention of Dalton police officers and the FBI's Northwest Georgia Safe Child Task Force on the Internet. On Sunday, he allegedly traveled to Dalton with intentions of having sex with a minor but instead was met by FBI agents and task force officers.
Justus was arrested and booked at the Whitfield County Jail in Dalton, where he remains, Emmett said.
