Eagles' England, Bulldogs' Rider make college choices

Two Gwinnett seniors made their college football decisions over the past few days, with Collins Hill's Nick England committing to Florida International and North Gwinnett's Carl Rider committing to Furman.

England has played both running back and wide receiver for the Eagles, helping them to the Class AAAAA semifinals as a junior when he caught 51 passes for 848 yards and 11 touchdowns. Rider, a linebacker who is one of North's defensive leaders, made 51 tackles last season for a state playoff team.
