SUGAR HILL -- A motorcyclist was killed after his vehicle collided with an SUV Friday evening, officials said.

The 45-year-old Cumming man -- who was not identified Friday night -- was traveling near the intersection of Buford Dam and Suwanee Dam Roads in Sugar Hill when the two vehicles collided, Gwinnett County Police spokesman Cpt. Jake Smith said.

The driver of the SUV, also not identified, was at fault in the accident, Smith said. Information about potential criminal charges was not released Friday, but Smith did say alcohol was not believed to be a factor.
