BUFORD -- A local school is taking part in a country-wide effort Friday to break the current "Simon Says" world record for most participants playing the game at once.
Located at 4000 South Bogan Road in Buford, the Goddard School for Early Childhood Development is participating in the record attempt, which includes more than 360 other locations around the United States.
The game begins at 1 p.m. Friday and lasts for 10 minutes.
Each school must read and follow specific guidelines provided "to execute a Guinness World Records-eligible game of Simon Says."
According to its website, the Goddard School is a franchise system of accredited childcare centers "committed to providing quality preschool education that surpasses industry standards."
