Arguably the funniest movie of 2011 thus far, "Bridesmaids" took the chick flick framework and twisted it beyond all recognition. In addition to wowing most critics, it nestled itself firmly in the US box office top 10 for close to four months. Thanks mostly to returning viewers and a healthy overseas take it recovered its budget nearly eight times over. Sadly the extras are not nearly as gut-busting as the film itself and contain a lot of repetition and filler. Regardless, it will still likely become one of the year's biggest selling home video and rental titles.
