The 19th annual Brookwood Invitational softball tournament features another large field, with 43 teams participating in games today, Friday and Saturday.
Brookwood is one of 13 high schools hosting tourney games for pool play, which concludes Friday. Dacula, Grayson, Loganville, Parkview, Central Gwinnett, Archer, South Gwinnett, Mill Creek, Apalachee, North Gwinnett, South Forsyth and Mountain View also host the early-round games.
The event concludes Saturday with a busy slate at each site, beginning at 8:30 a.m. The last games Saturday are scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
Brookwood, Parkview, Central, Dacula, South, Archer, Peachtree Ridge, North, Loganville, Mill Creek and Grayson are the host sites on Saturday.
