Melanie Deal and Robert Hale were married June 4 at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Atlanta. Father Frank McNamee officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Bonnie Deal of Statham. She is a graduate of South Gwinnett High School and Georgia Tech. She is employed with the Georgia Department of Transportation as a civil engineer.
The groom is the son of Mark and Mary Hale of Jonesboro. He is a graduate of Lovejoy High School and Georgia Tech. He is employed with KSI Structural Engineering as an engineer.
Sallie O'Callaghan of Lilburn served as the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Dannemiller of Lawrenceville, Emma Deal of Watkinsville, Lily Hale-Abbott of Jonesboro, Laura Patel of Redwood City, Calif., Christine Price of Beech Island, S.C., and Andrea Tice of Macon.
Andy Cole of Marietta served as best man. Groomsmen were Allen Deal of Irmo, S.C., Corey Deal of Irmo, S.C., Ronnie Deal of Watkinsville, Emory Harris of Marietta, Brad Johnson of Woodstock, and Scott Martin of Canton.
After a honeymoon in Charleston, S.C., the couple resides in Atlanta.
