DULUTH -- Friday, New Jersey's Skid Row is rocking out on the stage at Wild Bill's with special guests Dangerous New Machine and Big Foot, both hailing from Atlanta. This will be the band's fourth year in a row playing at the venue.
"The crowd should be prepared for a bunch of different songs than last time," Rachel Bolan, bassist of Skid Row said. "You know -- blood, sweat and rock 'n' roll."

They will be playing hits from their early albums, including "18 and Life," "I Remember You" and "Youth Gone Wild," plus some newer tunes the public hasn't heard yet.
Since the release from their 2006 album, "Revolutions per Minute," the guys have been working on a new record to share with their fans.
"There's not much to tell about it," Bolan said. "We're stockpiling songs right now. We'll write about 20 and pick the top 13. You always know the favorites when you play them."
It is scheduled to release in early 2012.
Other than that, Skid Row has stayed busy touring around the U.S. and the world.
"We're seeing new places like the Czech Republic," Bolan said. "It's the same old thing, but it's all great."
The group was originally scheduled to play at Wild Bill's on June 25, but they had to postpone. Their guitar player Scotti Hill had broken his hand earlier in the tour. Hill was walking off a dark stage, tripped over something "that shouldn't have been there" and fell on his hand. He broke a metacarpal (hand bone) and needed emergency surgery, but he's back to strumming his guitar for the masses.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and Skid Row goes on at 9:15 p.m.
