LAWRENCEVILLE -- The mother of the three children killed in an explosion at a Lilburn meth house was charged with murder Wednesday -- some seven months and a new baby after the original incident.

Neibi Brito, 22 at the time of her arrest in February, was originally charged only with trafficking in methamphetamine after the explosion at her home on Spring Mill Drive killed her children, ages 3, 4 and 18 months.

Authorities now say Brito was also pregnant at the time of her arrest and was escorted to Gwinnett Medical Center on Monday, where she gave birth.

The new mother was charged in the deaths of her three other children Wednesday along with cousin Joseph Alexander Perez, who reportedly told police he was assisting with the cooking and washing of methamphetamine at the house when it exploded on Feb. 17.

Ivan Gonzalez, who has been wanted for murder all along, remains on the lam.

Authorities pulled 10 pounds of meth and $200,000 from the house. The children were also rescued, if only temporarily.
