NORCROSS -- A Norcross third-grader is facing disciplinary action after bringing an unloaded BB gun to school this week, school officials said Wednesday.
The BB gun was reported to administrators at Beaver Ridge Elementary School on Tuesday afteroon. "The school immediately began investigating and did find a BB gun inside his backpack," said Gwinnett County Public Schools spokesman Jorge Quintana. The student never pulled the gun out, and no BBs were found in the gun or backpack, Quintana noted. The student is facing disciplinary action at the Norcross school, he said. -- Josh GreenMore like this story
