The home-schooled Georgia Force football team defeated the Freedom Academy Cowboys 31-0 this past weekend, scoring 24 points in a decisive first quarter.
Georgia forced six turnovers, with fumbles recovered by Brandon Sullivan, Marques Freeman, Clay Mote and Andrew Jarnigan. Jarnigan and Matt Akerson also had an interception each, while Tevin Austin had a team-high five tackles.
Austin rushed for 161 yards and two touchdowns on offense and Matt Akerson added a 41-yard field goal.
The Force play Christian Heritage this Friday in a home game at Sugar Hill's Gary Pirkle Park. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
