GAC sweeps doubleheader over Woodward Academy

NORCROSS -- Greater Atlanta Christian rolled to a 7-5, 7-1 doubleheader sweep over Woodward Academy as the Spartans improved to 10-2 for the season.

Brianna Stewart was the winning pitcher in the first game, allowing just one earned run and improving to 6-0 for the year. Natalie deLatour threw a no-hitter in the second game for GAC and improved to 4-2 on the season. Sierra Lawrence led the way at the plate for GAC by going 5-for-7 in the two games -- including a home run, double, five runs and five RBIs. Krista Gustafson had two hits, including a triple, while Jill Banner had a double. Celine Talley added two RBIs and Mary Johnson had two runs scored for the Spartans.
