NORCROSS -- Bisco Industries is expanding to Norcross, one of 40 facilities in North America.
The company is a premier distributor of electronic components and fasteners used for production in aerospace, communication, computer, fabrication, industrial equipment, instrumentation, marine and military industries.
The Norcross location, which opened a week ago, represents the company's 39th expansion in 28 years. The location employs three sales representatives to serve clients in the South Atlantic Division.
"Bisco Industries was thrilled to expand to Gwinnett County and Metro Atlanta. Our primary focus is excellent customer service, and this location was strategically chosen to best serve the needs of our local customers. We greatly look forward to becoming a part of this thriving pro-business community." said Ted DeWalt, Georgia sales manager at Bisco's new facility in Norcross.
Marketing director Joshua Uhlich added, "We believe that Bisco will be able to contribute an integral piece to manufacturing efforts through our local presence and extensive inventory."
Commissioner Lynette Howard welcomed the company to the community."Georgia is home to more than 500 firms that perform all facets of aerospace- making Bisco Industries an important resource for existing companies, enabling them to continue their efforts in making our state a dominant force in this competitive niche industry," Howard said.
