SUWANEE -- A transitional housing community for homeless families with children is the beneficiary of Georgia Campus-Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine's annual race.
The GA-PCOM Old Peachtree Road 5K is scheduled for Saturday, with all proceeds going to Rainbow Village.
Wednesday is the last day to register online for the race, which costs $20. Online registration lasts through 8:59 p.m. Wednesday.
Race-day registration begins at 8 a.m. Saturday and costs $25.
It's the fifth year that students of the medical school have organized a charity road race. On-site registration is on campus at 625 Old Peachtree Road, followed by the starting gun at 9 a.m.

The GA-PCOM Old Peachtree Road 5K is an official Run and See Georgia Grand Prix Event.
