Pro athletes score win for hospice

JOHNS CREEK — Five NFL alumni took to the links with 65 other golfers recently to raise money for Peachtree Christian Hospice in its 11th annual Golf Classic held at St. Ives Country Club.

NFL alumni Brian Finneran, Dewey McClain, Keith Jones, Chris Calloway and Lou Kirouac, who collectively played 34 seasons of professional football, joined the golfers Oct. 3.

The former pro athletes autographed footballs and donated signed photographs they personally presented as prizes to tournament winners.

“It was an absolute thrill for our hospice and supporters throughout Metro Atlanta to enjoy the day with the NFL alumni,” said Bill Todd, board co-chair of Peachtree Christian Hospice.
