LAWRENCEVILLE -- On Sunday Discover Mills will host its annual Halloween event for Simon Kidgits Club members and the community. Stationed at the food court, there will be games, crafts and a Radio Disney "walk the stage" costume parade.
The Simon Kidgits Club Halloween Bash will be a fun, spooky afternoon filled with activities. For those children that are not club members, their parents can pay $5 to sign them up for a year. This occasion is just one of many family-friendly events hosted by Discover Mills, according to Teresa Holloway, director of marketing and business development at Discover Mills.
"Throughout the year Discover Mills proudly hosts a variety of family-friendly activities and entertainment in a fun, safe community environment," Holloway said. "This Halloween, whether kids want to show off their new costume, use their creativity or stock up on treats, there is an activity here for every ghost, witch, princess and werewolf."
Activities will include arts and crafts such as making paper plate ghosts, creating faux stained glass pumpkin window hangers and coloring a fuzzy Halloween paddleball game. Also, a mall wide Trick-O-Treat will begin at 3 p.m. Halloween-themed music and seasonal treats will be served.
