SUWANEE -- A new, private non-profit Christian school that specializes in teaching children with dyslexia has scheduled its inaugural Monster Dash 5K for 8 a.m. Saturday.
The event takes place at Sage School, 3585 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, Suite 402.
Proceeds from sponsors and event participants help provide scholarships for students of the school, and book donations will help build Sage School's library.
The race starts at 9 a.m. at the school and ends back at the school.
Fall festival-type activities will follow the race. A Halloween costume contest also will follow.
