SNELLVILLE — The official rebuttal is in.
Brookwood answered the weeks-old video from its rival Grayson — "Brookwood Where You At?" — with its own video this week entitled, "Grayson Step Your Game Up (OFFICIAL BHS Response)," just in time for the Friday night football showdown between the nearby schools.
The Broncos' response featured a number of the school's athletic teams, including the reigning region champion softball and volleyball teams, and the reigning state champion football, cross country and boys tennis teams.
As of Thursday morning, the Brookwood video had nearly 13,000 hits on YouTube. It is still way off catching the viral Grayson video, which has more than 210,000 hits.
Brookwood and Grayson have combined to win the last six region championships in football. Grayson won the rivalry game in 2008 and 2009, but Brookwood has won five of the seven all-time meetings.
