Mozelle Westbrook Cruce, age 83 of Grayson, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011. She was born in Tucker, Georgia on November 14, 1927. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and sister. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Christina Cruce Spivey. Mozelle was a homemaker for many years before working and retiring from the Gwinnett County Public School System. She was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church in Grayson and former member of Mountain Park First Baptist Church in Stone Mountain, GA. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Jack Cruce of Grayson; son David (Brenda) Cruce of Loganville, GA, son Mike (Dodie) Cruce of Loganville, GA, son Phil (Cheryl) Cruce of Monroe, GA, daughter Cathy (Roger) Evans of Tunnel Hill, GA, son Keane (Teresa) Cruce of Grayson, daughter Tricia (Tommy) Hope of Cumming, GA, and son Kevin Cruce of Grayson; eighteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Morris (Betty) Westbrook of Tucker, GA and W.C. (Esther) Westbrook of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 26th at 3:00 p.m. at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, 2299 Rosebud Road, Grayson, GA 30017, preceded by visitation from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the church. Services will be conducted by Rev. Tommy Jordan and Rev. Denny Davis. Interment will follow at Chestnut Grove Baptist Cemetery.
