Vera Mae Holbrooks Chatham, age 68 of Grayson, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011. Funeral Services will be held 3 PM Saturday, October 22, 2011 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Deacon Clay Phillips will officiate. Burial at Sawnee View Gardens, Cumming. She loved cooking and enjoyed gardening especially vegetables & flowers. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Wallace. Mrs. Chatham is survived by Husband: Robert L. Chatham; Children: Robert "Greg" Chatham (Lori Lance Chatham); Michael "Mike" Chatham (Debra Powell Chatham); Brother: James R. Holbrooks (Becky); Sisters: Betty Ann Cook, Eleanor Cowart (Ben); Brothers: Lewis Paul Holbrooks (Sandra); George Russell Holbrooks (Evelyn); Brother-in-law: David Wallace; Several Nieces & Nephews; Grandchildren: Autumn Grace Chatham, Gabrielle Rose Chatham. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice; American Cancer Society, Gwinnett Co. Unit, 6500 Sugarloaf Parkway, Ste. 260, Duluth, Ga. 30097 or any Local Animal Rescue. The family will receive friends from 4 PM to 9 PM, Friday, October 21, 2011 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Rd. SW, Lawrenceville, Ga. 30046. 770 962-3100.
