The Blue Devils have been reeling the past two games, or at least the past five quarters. They led region leader North Gwinnett 22-7 in the fourth quarter two weeks ago only to lose 29-22, then looked rough in last week's 41-14 loss to Peachtree Ridge. Alvin Kamara rushed for 122 yards in last Friday's loss, but not much else went right for Norcross, which gave up 502 yards of offense to the Lions.

"The problem was we were in positions to make plays and we missed tackles," Norcross head coach Keith Maloof said of the Peachtree Ridge loss. "We haven't done that all year."

One area of concern is the absence of two senior starters on the offensive front, guard Matt Eller and tackle Danny Danh, because of injuries. Norcross will get a boost this week with the return of middle linebacker Tommy Tate, who missed last Friday's game.

Fourteen Meadowcreek players will celebrate Senior Night tonight, including Kaleb Ross, who continues to play multiple roles for the Mustangs. The secondary continues to be a team strength with Carlton Conell (two interceptions last week), Rayquan Sam and Keyon Rich standing out of late. Punter Ever Meajivar also has done well.

"We've got to get some things going offensively and keep our defense off the field," Meadowcreek head coach Deario Grimmage said.

Last meeting: Norcross won 34-0 last year
